About The Position

Mimaki USA is seeking a high-caliber Manager of Training and Enablement to lead the development and rollout of our comprehensive business training ecosystem. This individual will serve as the primary bridge between our technical engineering capabilities and our front-line sales performance. You are responsible for ensuring that Mimaki team members, and our dealer partners, have the mastery required to represent our brand with technical precision and sales charisma.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, instructional design, or related field (preferred) and/or 8+ years related experience in corporate training, or combination of education and experience in corporate training.
  • Mastery in Instructional Design (ADDIE/SAM): building structured learning paths, needs analysis, content development, and post-training evaluation.
  • Hands-on proficiency with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Docebo).
  • Ability to understand and distill technical information into concise guides.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Proficient in Company-provided hardware and software.

  • Manage the digital infrastructure for tracking certifications, course completions, and compliance for the 10% administrative pillar.
  • Own the "Mimaki Experience." This includes the physical and narrative setup of our Experience Centers—ensuring lighting, sample quality, hardware placement, and storytelling are perfectly aligned.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute deep-dive hardware and software certifications for internal staff and dealer partners.
  • Work closely with Service and Engineering to translate technical updates into actionable training modules.
  • Create standardized demo "scripts" and workflows that highlight Mimaki’s USPs (Unique Selling Propositions).
  • Train personnel on how to use hardware to tell a compelling business story for different vertical markets.
  • Build the sales enablement framework: prospecting, value-based selling, and competitive displacement.
  • Conduct "train-the-trainer" sessions for regional managers to ensure training is consistent across all territories.
  • Partner with Human Resources on new-hire orientation and company culture integration.
  • Collaborate with Business Systems/IT to train staff on CRM (Salesforce/Dynamics) and ERP workflows.
