About The Position

Parking Concepts, Inc. (PCI) is seeking a driven and reliable Manager Trainee for our growing San Francisco Bay Area operations. This is a hands-on operational and administrative role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent); or Associate degree with 2 years of comparable parking management experience; or High school diploma with 4 years of comparable parking management experience.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, with the ability to quickly learn new software applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong command of the English language

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in accounting or financial record-keeping practices.
  • Background in the hospitality or customer service industry.
  • Ability to drive both automatic and manual (all types) transmissions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative assistance at the regional office as needed, including covering for the office manager during absences.
  • Direct incoming calls to the appropriate PCI manager, assist existing customers with account inquiries, and help new customers sign up.
  • Support personnel processes—such as reviewing timesheets, posting job ads, onboarding new hires and following up on required company and other compliance items—with guidance from the leadership team.
  • Provide backup coverage for location managers during time off and respond to after-hours or weekend emergency calls when necessary.
  • Assist in the daily operations of various parking facilities as needed.
  • Efficiently manage staffing, create and post bi-weekly schedules to cover scheduled and unscheduled absences, and ensure staff maintain high standards of professionalism and safety compliance.
  • Conduct performance reviews and handle disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Audit all revenue documents, compile daily revenue summaries for various locations, and submit reports to the San Francisco regional office.
  • Ensure revenue and access control equipment are properly maintained for optimal performance.
  • Assist in the company’s audit compliance activities like key card audits, periodic facility safety inspections, revenue and access control system checks, spot audits of sites including uniform compliance, etc.
  • Assist the Marketing and Business Development team with market surveys, local event coordination, and strategic projects
