About The Position

Hertz Local Edition (HLE) is hiring a Manager Trainee to support location performance, develop leadership skills, and prepare for promotion to Branch Manager in as little as 12–18 months. The role provides exposure to all aspects of the business in a fast-paced environment, including sales and customer service, operations and fleet management, vehicle and facility care, finance and administration, and leadership development.

Requirements

Must be 20 years of age or older.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid driver’s license.
Strong computer and multitasking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to grow.
Exceptional time management skills.
Flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Presentable attire.
Experience working in a professional environment.

Responsibilities

Support achievement of location sales goals.
Deliver excellent customer experiences to contribute to high customer service scores.
Learn and apply sales techniques and CRM best practices.
Gain hands-on experience in fleet logistics and inventory control.
Assist with store operations and compliance.
Help clean and prepare vehicles for customers, manage the lot, and provide customer service assistance.
Learn finance processes and support deal completion.
Understand reporting, documentation, and business metrics.
Shadow and support management in daily operations.
Build skills in team leadership, scheduling, and performance coaching.
Prepare for future leadership roles through structured training.
