About The Position

The Manager Trainee position is a paid, full-time, hands-on training program designed to develop and prepare participants for management at Menards. General Management, Department Managers, and Store Team Members work alongside trainees to build their understanding of the business and prepare them for a management role. Menards promotes from within, and upon completing the program, trainees are eligible to pursue advancement at more than 330 store locations, the Corporate Office, manufacturing facilities, and distribution centers.

Responsibilities

• Participate in hands-on training to learn Menards’ business and prepare for a management role.
• Work alongside the General Management team, Department Managers, and Store Team Members during the training program.
• Develop the ability to lead and develop a team.
