About The Position

The Manager, Technology Operations will drive operational performance and execution across Walmart Business store-fulfilled Delivery and Pickup. This role will use data and customer insights to identify opportunities, investigate complex fulfillment issues, and drive solutions from root cause through implementation. The Manager will lead cross-functional initiatives, translate operational needs into actionable business and technology requirements, and drive work through testing, launch, and performance validation. This role requires strong analytical problem solving, technical fluency, operational judgment, and the ability to independently navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes across a highly matrixed organization. About the team: Walmart Business helps organizations save time, money, and hassle by bringing Walmart's everyday low prices, broad assortment, and omnichannel capabilities to business customers. The Omni Post-Transaction team focuses on what happens after customers place their orders, including the experiences that help them successfully receive and manage their purchases. Our work spans store-fulfilled Delivery and Pickup and other post-transaction experiences, with a focus on ensuring Walmart's capabilities evolve to support the distinct needs and growing complexity of business customers.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills and ability to turn data and insights into action.
  • Experience in eCommerce, fulfillment, operations, supply chain, product operations, or related fields.
  • Technical and business fluency to navigate interdependencies across operations, product, and technology and translate needs across stakeholders.
  • Ability to independently drive complex, cross-functional work from ambiguity to measurable outcomes.
  • Strong operational judgment, balancing customer experience, business impact, scalability, and execution constraints.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, ownership, and intellectual curiosity, with the ability to understand complex problems and drive alignment.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business, information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or related area and 3 years’ experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.
  • 5 years’ experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze fulfillment performance, customer feedback, and operational data to identify opportunities and root causes.
  • Lead cross-functional efforts to resolve complex Delivery and Pickup customer and operational issues.
  • Translate business needs and operational insights into clear requirements and scalable solutions with Product and Engineering.
  • Drive initiatives from discovery through testing, launch, performance validation, and continuous improvement.
  • Establish operating mechanisms, manage dependencies, and drive accountability across partner teams.
  • Identify recurring issues and translate near-term operational learnings into longer-term capability improvements.
  • Use data and operational judgment to surface risks, recommend actions, and influence decisions.
