(USA) Manager, Technology Operations
About The Position
The Manager, Technology Operations is responsible for managing and supporting technology-enabled operational programs from definition through execution. This individual will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business requirements, translate them into operational and technical needs, and drive solutions that improve efficiency, customer experience, and operational performance. The role requires a strong understanding of data and analytics, including the ability to work with large datasets, identify trends and anomalies, develop actionable insights, and use data to support operational decisions. Experience with SQL, reporting/visualization tools, or similar analytical capabilities is preferred. The individual will support the configuration, monitoring, and optimization of operational systems and processes. This may include areas such as store and customer serviceability, geographic coverage, delivery areas/catchments, store mappings, and other location-based or fulfillment configurations. Prior specialized catchment experience is not required; however, candidates should be comfortable learning complex operational logic and using data to understand and optimize geographic or network-based configurations. The role will also manage multiple initiatives of varying complexity, establish goals and milestones, identify risks and dependencies, track performance, troubleshoot operational issues, and coordinate resolution across Product, Engineering, Operations, Analytics, and other business partners. The successful candidate should be comfortable operating in an evolving environment, solving ambiguous problems, and communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Key skills to emphasize: Program/technology operations management, data analysis and SQL, analytical problem solving, critical thinking, cross-functional stakeholder management, operational configuration and optimization, ability to learn geographic/catchment concepts, and strong communication and execution skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business, information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or related area and 3 years’ experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.
- OR 5 years’ experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with SQL, reporting/visualization tools, or similar analytical capabilities is preferred.
- Comfortable learning complex operational logic and using data to understand and optimize geographic or network-based configurations.
- Comfortable operating in an evolving environment, solving ambiguous problems, and communicating clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Master’s degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business, information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or related area.
- Background in creating inclusive digital experiences.
- Knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards.
- Knowledge of assistive technologies.
- Knowledge of integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
- Knowledge of accessibility best practices.
