We are seeking an experienced IT Training Manager to spearhead our IT training life cycle. This role involves conducting needs analysis, developing training strategies, and delivering comprehensive training programs for IT professionals and end-users. The ideal candidate will manage skills development processes, ensuring a technical learning environment that maximizes technology capability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Education, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Training, including curriculum development for IT and instructional technology.
  • At least 2 years of experience in training management.
  • Proven ability to manage and mentor supervisors, project leads, and technical staff.
  • Experience as a project leader and subject matter expert on multiple complex projects.
  • Strong communication skills to report to senior management, including Corporate Training Officer, IT COO, or CIO.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the IT training life cycle, including needs analysis and training program development.
  • Implement and manage skills management and competency development processes for IT staff and end-users.
  • Coordinate services to identify business and training drivers and analyze related roles, skills, and competencies.
  • Lead skill gap analysis and collaborate with IT to prioritize training needs.
  • Ensure the organization has a robust technical learning environment.
  • Oversee curriculum and courseware development to address skill gaps for IT professionals and end-users.
  • Manage the selection and usage of training delivery systems and certification/testing methods.
  • Measure training ROI and pilot new training techniques to enhance effectiveness.
