The intern will assist in reviewing internal workflows, collect efficiency data, and help identify process improvements aimed at reducing turnaround time by at least 10%.
Requirements
- HS Diploma
- Enrolled in a degree in Technical Communication/Mechanical/Chemical/Industrial Engineering (Preferred)
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to positively interact with various levels of management, coworkers, and internal and external contacts
- Attention to detail
- Decision maker
- Effective communicator
- Proficient problem solver
- Works well in a team environment
- Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality
- Excellent computer skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to create and facilitate presentations to leadership

Responsibilities
- Complete review of work instructions needs (identifying gaps)
- Complete review of training checklists.
- Training documentation tracking for all hourly Washougal personnel,
- Assist in reviewing internal workflows.
