About The Position

THE ROLE Entegris is seeking a Manager, Technical Program Manager (TPM) to serve as the New Product Development (NPD) management partner to the Gas Micro-contamination Control Business Unit (GMC BU), within our Advanced Purity Solutions Division. As a key member of the Business Operations Organization, this new hire will drive new product delivery and associated revenue commitments by working closely with global Business/Product Management, Engineering, and Operations leaders and their teams. In addition to leading complex NPD and strategic programs, this role will directly manage of a global team of Program Managers, providing functional leadership, coaching, and performance development. The TPM will operate with a global enterprise mindset while also serving as the PMO leader for product development programs within the BU NPD portfolio, ensuring consistency with global PMO standards while enabling effective execution. This position manages NPD programs as groups of related projects, balancing scope, schedule, risk, and resources to ensure successful product launches through the Stage‑Gate process. Success requires strong portfolio leadership, cross‑functional influence, and the ability to balance strategy and execution via NPD success for the GMC BU. This new hire will be based at our site in Bedford, MA.

Requirements

  • BS or MS degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or related technical field.
  • 8+ years of project, program, and/or portfolio management experience in a global organization.
  • Demonstrated people‑management experience.
  • Ability to lead global, cross‑functional teams.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Technical understanding of engineering and manufacturing work.
  • Financial acumen and value‑driven mindset.
  • Ability to leverage enterprise AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with resin development and materials engineering.
  • Experience leading injection‑molded product development programs.
  • PMP, or similar, certification.
  • Master’s degree in a technical field.
  • Demonstrated program and portfolio‑level leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the NPD portfolio for the BU in partnership with business, engineering, and operations leaders.
  • Directly manage and develop a team of Program Managers.
  • Serve as the on‑site NPD PMO leader for the MN site.
  • Think and act globally while executing locally.
  • Establish and maintain portfolio‑level visibility of schedules, priorities, dependencies, and risks.
  • Develop and support metrics‑based portfolio and program reporting.
  • Provide program structure, communication plans, schedules, and budget oversight.
  • Lead risk identification, mitigation, and contingency planning for complex technical programs.
  • Launch new products through the Stage‑Gate Process.
  • Serve as a role model for program and project management best practices.
  • Continuously improve PMO processes, tools, and ways of working.
