The Manager, Technical Delivery is responsible for the establishment, career & skills development, and performance of multiple, geographically diverse engineering teams. The teams may consist of software development engineers, quality engineers, and DevOps engineers, ability to build a healthy team culture and successfully deliver software products using Agile methodologies, modern tech stacks and processes. Partner with business stakeholders to align product and engineering roadmaps. Manage the teams to ensure quality of deliverables are balanced with velocity and throughput expectations to ensure reasonable deliverable targets are met. Create a healthy culture of collaboration, innovation, and learning for the team, including key Agile concepts of Shift+Left, Shift+Right, and pairing of engineers to deliver highest quality work with optimal efficiency Ensure engineering team deliverables are of highest possible code quality, are well tested, and meet the needs of the target consumer Expertly monitor software development, quality engineering, and DevOps industry trends, emerging technologies, and raise opportunities that will result in cost savings, increased revenue, and/or improved security or customer experience. Foster a collaborative, learning environment for team members. Mentor and motivate staff to achieve optimal performance results and a cohesive team alignment.
