About The Position

At OPENLANE, we make wholesale easy so our customers can be more successful. We’re a technology company building the world’s most advanced—and uncomplicated—digital marketplace for used vehicles. We’re a data company helping customers buy and sell smarter with clear, actionable insights they can understand and use. And we’re an innovation company accelerating the future of wholesale remarketing through curiosity, collaboration, and an entrepreneurial spirit. We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager with experience in complex organizational design, capacity modeling, and high-volume recruiting optimization. You will be part of the Global Talent Acquisition team responsible for driving rapid, efficient, and compliant hiring across a highly dynamic, multi-regional US and Canadian landscape. In this role, you will be involved in leading a team of Talent Acquisition Partners (TAPs), driving complex sourcing strategies, and optimizing high-volume frontline screening workflows. You will have the opportunity to use your experience in implementing proactive top-of-funnel technology (CRM), maximizing team capacity, and navigating cross-border compliance. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in full-cycle talent acquisition and operational scaling.

Requirements

  • 5+ Years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with expertise balancing high-volume regional hiring and complex/strategic headhunting.
  • 2+ Years of formal or informal people leadership, mentorship, or team management experience.
  • Expert-level command of ATS platforms (Workday Recruiting preferred) and experience driving the adoption of CRM/AI sourcing technologies.
  • Proven ability to analyze data (Time-to-Fill, aging analytics, capacity math) to drive large-scale process improvements.
  • Working knowledge of both US and Canadian employment compliance.

Nice To Haves

  • Proven experience managing vendor performance (offshore resources, external staffing agencies) and negotiating 3rd-party support.
  • Certifications in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).

Responsibilities

  • Manage, mentor, and elevate a geographically dispersed team of TAPs, ensuring resources are strategically aligned by function and market to maximize output.
  • Successfully navigate sudden requisition volume spikes by overseeing our blended workforce model, decoupling high-volume transactional tasks from strategic headhunting.
  • Champion the rollout, training, and enforcement of an enterprise CRM and Workday AI features, transforming the team into proactive market-mappers.
  • Provide predictive aging analytics, Workday reporting, and vendor expense tracking to identify bottlenecks and present data-backed business cases to TA Leadership.
  • Exclusively manage highly sensitive, VP-level, or critical strategic leadership positions to maintain deep market insight and hands-on expertise.

Benefits

  • Competitive pay
  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits with employer HSA contributions (US) and FSA options (US)
  • Immediately vested 401K (US) or RRSP (Canada) with company match
  • Paid Vacation, Personal, and Sick Time
  • Paid maternity and paternity leave (US)
  • Employer-paid short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance, and AD&D (US)
  • Robust Employee Assistance Program
  • Employer paid Leap into Service Day to volunteer
  • Tuition Reimbursement for eligible programs
  • Opportunities to expand your skill set and share your knowledge across a publicly traded, global organization
  • Company culture of internal promotions, diverse career paths, and meaningful advancement
