About The Position

As Manager, T&O Leadership Programs, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our management development program effectively equips and enables T&O people managers with the foundational skills and knowledge necessary to lead and inspire their teams. This role will be responsible for leading key activities including the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of talent development programs in RBC Technology & Operations. You will collaborate effectively with partner teams and key stakeholders across T&O and RBC Enterprise to design impactful learning experiences and ensure seamless program execution to deliver an enhanced employee experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Business Administration, Communications).
  • 2+ years of experience developing and executing communication strategies for complex initiatives and executive-level presentations
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven and exceptional project management skills, with orientation to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience with metrics reporting, dashboards, and communicating business impact and performance.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint (advanced presentation creation) and Excel (data analysis, formulas, pivot tables, charts)
  • Proficient in digital content and collaboration tools including intranet site and content management (i.e. Connect, SharePoint), survey tools (i.e., Achievers) and interactive social engagement tools (i.e. WebEx Meetings, Sli.do)
  • Creative and analytical thinker who is self-driven and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience working with graphic design applications (i.e., Adobe InDesign, Creative Cloud, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of our leadership development program (Welcome to Tech@RBC: People Management), ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic priorities.
  • Contribute to the development/refinement of the Program Agenda, in collaboration with Lead Program Designer/Facilitators.
  • Lead project management and scheduling efforts by tracking project deliverables, timelines and milestones.
  • Ensure that all aspects of the program are progressing as planned and address any risks or issues that may arise.
  • Develop, update and maintain all program materials including presentation slide decks, intranet site, participant workbook (printed) & manager handbook (digital), workshop and facilitator materials.
  • Ensure that content is relevant, accurate and adheres to professional standards in quality.
  • Identify, brief and prepare internal (and external, if applicable) speakers involved with the training program agenda.
  • Coordinate with speakers to ensure their presentation content aligns to program objectives, adheres to professional standards in quality and are engaging for participants.
  • Lead survey management and analysis by developing and distributing program evaluations to gather feedback.
  • Analyze results to identify areas for improvement and to measure the program’s effectiveness.
  • Monitor and track the program budget.
  • Ensure that all expenses are within budget and seek opportunities to optimize costs.
  • Coordinate vendor engagements and contracts with procurement as required across leadership programs, ensuring alignment and quality of deliverables while tracking vendor invoices and payments.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and fiscal performance reports aligned with business unit’s strategy.
