Requirements

• High-level understanding of operating systems and foundation architecture.

Responsibilities

• Manage programming, administration, and support activities for enterprise operating systems across potentially multiple platforms.
• Oversee operating systems software selection, development, and ongoing maintenance to improve efficiency.
• Develop departmental standards and procedures, including systems programming standards and program documentation requirements.
• Define and monitor multiple projects and provide technical and administrative supervision.
• Coordinate implementation of new software with members of the IT and user communities.
• Provide technical consultation and support to users and other IT staff.
• Manage and mentor supervisors, project leads, and/or technical staff.
• Lead multiple complex projects as a project leader and subject matter expert.
