About The Position

The Manager Supply Chain Systems and Analytics leads data-driven decision-making across the health system’s supply chain operations. This role designs, builds and runs the reporting tools and dashboards that support both clinical and non-clinical supply chain performance. The Manager Supply Chain Systems and Analytics also acts as a key partner to executive, clinical and operational teams by translating complex data into clear, practical insights that lower costs, support patient care and ensure reliable supply delivery. Additionally, this role guides the daily work of the analytics team, improves data tracking tools and uses trend data to prevent shortages and control health system spending.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, finance, data analytics, healthcare administration or related field. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
  • Four years of progressively responsible, directly related experience in analytics, supply chain or healthcare operations when accompanied by a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Eight years of progressively responsible, directly related experience in analytics, supply chain or healthcare operations when accompanied by a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare supply chain operations, including clinical products, hospital workflows and Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) structures.
  • High level of proficiency with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., Lawson, Workday, Oracle) and healthcare supply chain management systems.
  • Advanced proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), databases and advanced Excel applications.
  • Strong financial skills with a focus on tracking operational spend, identifying cost-saving options and managing data models.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear, practical insights for non-technical teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about data trends and solve operational problems.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and pivot quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Establish the long-term vision for the supply chain analytics department to align data tracking with health system goals
  • Direct, mentor and develop a team of supply chain analysts, overseeing daily work priorities, project execution and professional growth
  • Design, build and maintain scalable data models, operational dashboards and reporting tools that support strategic decision-making across supply chain, finance and clinical operations
  • Lead comprehensive spending reviews, comparing current use against historical trends and budgets to identify savings opportunities and cost drivers
  • Track vendor contract compliance, category spend and overall supplier performance to ensure Capital Health gets maximum contract value
  • Develop data models to improve demand planning, inventory rotation speeds and warehouse stock accuracy across clinical areas
  • Provide real-time data tracking to prevent stock shortages, improve product availability and lower emergency shipping expenses
  • Identify upcoming supply chain risks, such as price spikes or regional shortages, and recommend practical ways to minimize operational disruption
  • Collaborate with Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs) and external partners to evaluate vendor relationships and track total cost of ownership
  • Partner with supply chain, finance and clinical leaders to deliver clear data insights and recommendations that support product purchasing and standardization efforts
  • Create clear, data-driven reports and executive presentations to communicate key operational trends, risk areas and cost-saving opportunities to Capital Health leadership
  • Perform other duties as assigned
