The Manager Supply Chain Operations serves as a primary on-site liaison between the System Logistics Department (purchasing and distribution) and site Administration, department heads, physicians, and clinical staff within each facility. The role ensures cost-effective utilization of products, including medical/surgical supplies and technological assessment, and optimizes supply chain resources at assigned hospitals and facilities, including staffing and inventory. This position analyzes supply chain data to measure best practices, increase quality, and decrease costs. Responsibilities include collaborating with facility caregivers and System Logistics to convert new products, serving on system-wide Value Analysis Teams, and evaluating/monitoring inventory levels. The Manager also evaluates processes, conducts quality supply chain audits, identifies quality issues, and implements process improvement plans. Additionally, the role involves meeting with vendors, coordinating educational programs, performing human resources responsibilities for staff, and developing/recommending budgets while controlling expenditures. The Manager is responsible for adhering to the organization's Code of Ethical Conduct and ensuring compliance with applicable policies, regulations, and laws.
