About The Position

The Manager, SCM Analytics, Reporting & AI leads a team of five analytics and AI professionals delivering reporting, actionable insights, automation, and AI-enabled solutions across the end-to-end supply chain. The role sets priorities, establishes governance and quality standards, reviews solution design and outcomes, removes delivery barriers, and ensures work aligns with business objectives. It connects Supply Chain with Commercial, IT, Finance, and other partners to turn business needs into scalable, maintainable analytics and AI capabilities. The successful candidate has experience leading reporting and AI implementations and can demonstrate measurable process optimization, such as reducing manual effort, improving reporting cycle time and data quality, simplifying workflows, strengthening controls, or accelerating decisions. The role emphasizes leadership, portfolio management, governance, stakeholder alignment, and sustainable delivery, while requiring enough technical credibility to guide and review solutions. Potential focus areas include S&OP integration, network and inventory optimization, slow-moving inventory, replenishment, logistics, nationwide distribution, performance reporting, workflow automation, and responsible use of AI agents.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in analytics, business intelligence, reporting, data products, automation, or AI, including demonstrated leadership of people, projects, or a technical delivery team.
  • Proven experience leading reporting and AI implementations from business need through adoption, governance, maintenance, and measurable value realization.
  • Demonstrated success optimizing business processes, with the ability to explain specific before-and-after examples, leadership role, approach, stakeholder involvement, controls introduced, and measurable results.
  • Experience managing and developing analytics, reporting, business intelligence, data science, automation, or AI professionals.
  • Ability to prioritize a portfolio of requests, allocate team capacity, manage competing deadlines, and communicate trade-offs to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of reporting and visualization practices, metric governance, data quality, user adoption, and solution lifecycle management.
  • Working knowledge of AI/ML and AI-agent lifecycles, including use-case selection, data readiness, validation, deployment, monitoring, risk management, maintenance, and responsible AI practices.
  • Ability to review and challenge technical designs and analytical methods without serving as the primary developer for every deliverable.
  • Experience with enterprise analytics and AI platforms such as Databricks, Tableau, Power BI, SAP BusinessObjects, Azure OpenAI, Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, or comparable platforms.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, Python, APIs, automation, data modeling, and cloud data platforms sufficient to guide the team, assess feasibility, review work, and communicate with technical partners.
  • Advanced understanding of Excel, Power Query, Power Automate, SharePoint workflows, or comparable productivity and workflow tools.
  • Exceptional communication, executive presentation, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and change-leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to documentation, controls, accuracy, timeliness, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure reporting and AI solutions are accurate, timely, scalable, supportable, and aligned with enterprise architecture and technology standards.
  • Monitor solution performance, adoption, and business value, and direct corrective action, maintenance, retraining, enhancement, or retirement as appropriate.
  • Identify and sponsor process-optimization opportunities across Inventory, Forecasting, Sales, Logistics, Procurement, and Finance, using analytics, automation, and AI where they provide business value.
  • Develop and present measurable before-and-after process-improvement examples, including outcomes such as reduced manual effort, cycle time, handoffs or errors; improved data quality or controls; increased adoption; or faster decisions.
  • Partner with Supply Chain leaders and functional managers to define performance measures, interpret results, identify risks and opportunities, and support strategic decisions.
