About The Position

The Manager Supplier Delivery is accountable for obtaining a clear and accurate understanding of the policies and procedures of purchasing products in support of requirements from the Sales and JIT Contracts departments and maintaining relationships with suppliers and Incora operational sites. Under the guidance of a procurement manager or department manager, Manager Supplier Delivery will support the buyers in their day-to-day activities with purchase requisitions, vendor interface and performance, supplier performance analysis - with an overall focus on improving supplier pricing, performance, and the reduction of supply chain risk. The Manager will also assist with obtaining quotes (RFQ's) for competitive bidding; recommend sales awards or contracts, if applicable; act as a backup to generate Purchase Orders and provide general logistical support for the buying team. A key area of focus will be the monitoring of supplier KPI's.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and one year of applicable aerospace experience
  • Basic knowledge of purchasing practices and procedures
  • Familiarity with Incora materials and products or aerospace parts preferred
  • Ability to interpret basic technical specifications and bid documents
  • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining positive, effective working relationships
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with professional daily interaction with internal and external customers
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate data and develop sound procurement recommendations
  • Ability to reproduce established bids and learn to prepare and evaluate new bids
  • Ability to learn and apply Incora procurement policies and government contracting principles within required training timelines
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with vendors, management, and coworkers
  • Proficiency or ability to learn integrated procurement and database systems
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); advanced Excel skills required
  • Applicants must meet the "U.S. Person" requirement as defined by ITAR.

Nice To Haves

  • Supply chain certifications preferred: CSCP, CPSM, and/or CPIM (in addition to bachelor’s degree)
  • Experience with JDE preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and apply Sales and JIT contract purchasing requirements
  • Apply procurement fundamentals, legal requirements, and ethical standards to all activities
  • Support senior buyers by preparing accurate purchase orders and revisions
  • Review purchase requisitions for completeness and accuracy
  • Coordinate with requestors to clarify or resolve requisition issues
  • Determine processing method based on dollar value, urgency, contracts, and bidding requirements
  • Solicit supplier quotes; assess pricing, availability, terms, and delivery; recommend awards
  • Collaborate with Material Support Specialists and Purchasing Support Representatives to support procurement, delivery, and quality
  • Work directly with suppliers to resolve issues, expedite material, and support quality and delivery
  • Serve as point of contact for resolving procurement discrepancies, including invoices, receiving, inspections, and payment issues
  • Monitor supplier compliance with cost, quality, and schedule requirements, report deficiencies
  • Advise internal customers on purchasing policies and procedures
  • Commit to professional development and continuous process improvement
  • Attend required company meetings and training
  • Travel as required
