About The Position

Salesforce is seeking a Manager of Finance to join its Strategic Finance Analytics team. The role combines building AI-enabled tools and data foundations to improve Finance workflows with business analysis that turns data into decisions. The person will partner across Corporate Finance, Product Finance, and Go-To-Market (GTM) Finance to provide a consistent, trusted view of company-wide performance. Success calls for a builder’s mindset with AI, strong technical depth in data, and business judgment to connect data signals to forecast outcomes. The position is hybrid, with three days per week in the office.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic analytics.
Demonstrated experience using LLMs, copilots, or automation platforms to build working tools, agents, or workflows that accelerate analysis and improve efficiency.
Strong business analysis skills, including the ability to turn ambiguous questions into structured analyses and clear, actionable recommendations.
Advanced SQL proficiency and working knowledge of Python.
Exceptional attention to detail and ownership of data quality and reporting accuracy.
Ability to partner cross-functionally and communicate findings to senior stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Snowflake or equivalent modern data stack tools.
Experience with Tableau or similar business intelligence tools.

Responsibilities

Design and build AI-enabled workflows, agents, and tools that automate manual, repeatable analysis and reporting, reducing cycle time and analytical risk.
Use LLMs, copilots, automation platforms, SQL, and Python to accelerate data preparation, pattern identification, anomaly detection, and insight generation.
Build bespoke datasets and analytical frameworks to support emerging enterprise business questions.
Maintain dashboards and self-service reporting, such as Tableau, where they provide durable value to cross-functional partners.
Champion AI adoption within Finance & Strategy by sharing best practices, prototypes, and reusable components.
Analyze historical trends, forecast drivers, and emerging business questions to inform planning and decision-making.
Contribute a Finance & Strategy perspective to forecast cycles by connecting data signals to drivers, risks, and variances.
Partner with Corporate Finance, Product Finance, GTM, and Analytics/Ops teams to align metric definitions and data sources and keep operational data consistent with financial reporting.
Own the integrity of datasets, validate them against source systems, and serve as the first line of defense for anomalies.
Translate findings into clear business terms and recommendations for senior Finance & Strategy stakeholders.
