  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4+ years of experience in strategic communications, program strategy, performance management, government operations, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience advising senior executives or leaders in complex, high-consequence environments.
  • 2+ years of experience in narrative development, executive communications, crisis and issues management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • 2+ years of experience with business process improvement, performance measurement, reporting, and management analysis.
  • 1+ years of experience with homeland security, law enforcement, justice-sector, or broader government operating environments.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
  • Ability to travel 0-20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an integrated communications and program strategy aligned to leadership priorities and measurable outcomes.
  • Create narrative architecture, key messages, and audience-specific communications for executive, government, legal, investigative, and interagency stakeholders.
  • Advise senior leaders on stakeholder dynamics, reputational risks, crisis communications, and escalation decisions.
  • Translate complex operational information into clear recommendations, executive briefings, performance reports, and management insights.
  • Improve business processes, governance, operating rhythms, and reporting mechanisms across the broader team.
  • Establish performance measures and monitor progress, risks, dependencies, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
