About The Position

We are a customer-focused team dedicated to helping small and medium-sized sellers grow on Walmart Marketplace. We support a diverse portfolio of sellers by driving scalable growth strategies, improving operational performance, and enabling adoption of Marketplace tools and programs. The Marketplace Account Management Central Team focuses on delivering consistent, data-driven support to help sellers succeed and provide great value to our customers. Role Summary We are seeking a results-driven Account Manager to support and grow a portfolio of small to medium-sized sellers on Walmart Marketplace. This role focuses on executing scalable growth strategies, improving seller performance, and driving adoption of key Marketplace programs. The ideal candidate is highly organized, data-driven, and comfortable managing multiple accounts in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in e-commerce, marketplace, account management, or merchandising; experience supporting SMBs is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using Excel/Sheets and BI tools to track and interpret performance metrics.
  • Solid understanding of e-commerce fundamentals, including assortment, pricing, content quality, and conversion drivers.
  • Operational knowledge of inventory, fulfillment, and seller performance metrics.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence sellers effectively.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and execution-focused with strong attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, information technology, business, marketing and sales, healthcare, or related area and 2 years' experience in business management, marketing and sales, healthcare, omni channel merchandising, or related area.
  • OR 4 years' experience in business management, marketing and sales, healthcare, omni channel merchandising, or related area.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with small or medium-sized businesses in a marketplace or e-commerce environment.
  • Familiarity with marketplace tools and seller platforms (e.g., catalog management, fulfillment, promotions).
  • Experience driving adoption of programs or tools at scale.
  • Exposure to multi-category environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of small to medium-sized sellers, prioritizing opportunities based on business impact and growth potential.
  • Execute standardized growth playbooks to drive improvements in assortment, pricing, inventory, and conversion.
  • Monitor seller performance across key metrics (GMV, conversion, in-stock rate, fulfillment performance) and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support catalog optimization efforts, including content quality, imagery, attributes, and discoverability.
  • Drive adoption of Marketplace programs and services (e.g., fulfillment solutions, promotions, marketing tools) to support seller growth.
  • Partner with sellers through structured communication (e.g., campaigns, outreach, or business reviews where applicable) to drive performance improvements.
  • Identify and escalate seller issues through appropriate channels and follow through on resolution.
  • Support onboarding and activation of new sellers using established processes and tools.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., operations, product, support) to improve seller experience and remove friction points.
  • Maintain strong organization and execution across a high-volume book of business.
