The Manager, State Policy Program will be responsible for leading state-level policy related to the interests, mission, and priorities of The National Comprehensive Cancer Network. In this role, the position will work with and report to the Senior Manager, Policy & Advocacy. The Manager, State Policy Program will identify and advise NCCN senior leadership on key policy areas and states for engagement. The Manager, State Policy Program will leverage legislative and regulatory opportunities to advance the priorities and influence of NCCN and achieve equitable access to guideline concordant care. Additionally, the Manager, State Policy Program ensures that state-level stakeholders, elected officials, committees and agencies are made aware of the importance of guideline-concordant care, and that they are better positioned to support policy priorities that align with the overall mission of NCCN. The Manager will also be responsible for monitoring, assessing, and influencing state oncology policy, overseeing programs such as The State Oncology Society Forum(SOSF), and supporting NCCN’s Oncology Policy Summit Series. This position requires occasional overnight travel.
