About The Position

The role offers a mix of strategic, operational and financial work and the opportunity to collaborate with a wide array of stakeholders to help drive business success. The Manager, US Finance - Business Planning will report to the Director, Business Planning. The Manager will provide direct financial support to Brand, Divisional, and Executive leadership across the US Commercial business. Viewed as a reliable source for financial data and analytics, forecasting, and brand-specific questions, this position acts as the Finance partner and has the opportunity to collaborate with a wide array of stakeholders to help drive success for the US organization (partnering with the US Business and Corporate Finance teams). This role will encompass (1) activities associated with forecast planning and execution, including reporting and variance analysis; (2) identification of business trends, including risks and opportunities; and (3) ad hoc analytical requests for potential launch products/other initiatives. Specific responsibilities will include: Play a key role in the US revenue and brand forecasting, planning and P&L management across multiple Divisions/Brands – including Annual Operating Plan and Quarterly Forecasts Provide financial planning, analysis and decision support to business as part of analytics as well as budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across the US/Divisional P&L Partner with US Brand Leads/DGMs - assessing Brand economics and analyzing/proposing alternatives to drive improved performance Be an integral part of the cross-functional Divisional Operation Team which serves as the primary advisory council to the DGMs to assist in making strategic decisions to drive business performance Assess the business cases for investments in new Brand/Divisional tactics & strategies or management initiatives and making financial recommendations based on business case financial hurdles across multiple financial measures Work with Director to prioritize and support workload across US P&L management including CFO preparation for quarterly earnings, Board of Directors meetings, Executive Committee Business Reviews, etc.
