About The Position
The Manager, Sourcing leads strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize supplier relationships, ensure product quality, and maintain on-time delivery. The role collaborates across functions to align sourcing strategies with business objectives, negotiate pricing and terms, and manage supplier performance. The manager oversees factory assessments, addresses production challenges, and drives continuous improvement by coaching and developing team members. Using market insights and digital tools, the position supports cost-saving opportunities while upholding company standards and building partnerships that meet customer and business needs. The Sourcing team builds and manages a supplier matrix, drives cost efficiencies, and ensures product quality. It works closely with Merchandising, Product Development, and Operations to develop strategic supplier partnerships and improve supply chain performance. The team focuses on innovative products and customer value, aligning sourcing strategies with business priorities and applying supplier relationship management, negotiation, and quality oversight to support operational excellence. The position is based at 805 SE Moberly Ln., Bentonville, Arkansas.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, Supply Chain, or a related area and 3 years of experience in sourcing; or 5 years of experience in sourcing, Business, Merchandising, Supply Chain, or related areas.
- Bilingual in English and one or more languages used to transact business in the assigned country.
- Project Management certification.
- Proven experience in strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management within complex supply chains.
- Strong negotiation skills to achieve cost-effective sourcing solutions while maintaining quality and delivery standards.
- Ability to assess supplier capabilities, conduct factory visits, and manage supplier quality and performance.
- Expertise collaborating cross-functionally with business partners and global teams to align sourcing strategies.
- Demonstrated leadership in mentoring team members and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of trade and political factors impacting sourcing decisions.
- Proficiency in stakeholder management and effective communication to resolve sourcing challenges.

- Experience working for a retailer, major brand, or importer/agent serving a major retail customer.
