About The Position

DigiCert is seeking a Corporate and Business Development leader to support its M&A and Partnership teams. The role supports and assists in managing the evaluation, execution, and integration of strategic growth initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, and market expansion opportunities. It conducts financial modeling and valuation analyses, industry and competitive research, business-case development, and due diligence to assess strategic and financial impacts. The role works cross-functionally with executive leadership, product leadership, finance, and legal to identify growth opportunities, monitor market trends, and advance M&A and partner transactions throughout the lifecycle, from sourcing through integration.

Requirements

At least 4 years of experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, private equity, or corporate development, preferably with a transition to a corporate role, in cybersecurity, SaaS, or technology-enabled sectors.
Demonstrated experience building complex financial models, including waterfalls, forecasts, ROI frameworks, valuations, and P&Ls, and manipulating large data sets in Excel.
Experience evaluating and analyzing SaaS performance metrics, including ARR, MRR, NRR, gross and net retention, churn, CAC, LTV, CAC payback period, Rule of 40, and customer cohort performance.
Exceptional proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, with a track record of structuring complex problems and delivering actionable insights to executive leadership.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment and within tight time frames.
Strong executive-ready communication skills, including writing clear briefs, running focused meetings, and keeping leadership informed.
Self-directed, with strong pipeline discipline and experience maintaining trackers, flagging delays, and proactively closing loops.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Responsibilities

Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and industry assessments in public-key infrastructure, digital certificates, identity, zero trust, cryptography, and related cybersecurity markets to build prioritized M&A and partnership pipelines.
Build financial models, including waterfall models, operating P&Ls, forecasts, scenario analyses, and valuation frameworks, to evaluate acquisitions and partnership scenarios.
Coordinate with cross-functional groups to synthesize information, develop financial models, and assess target-company fit and attractiveness.
Prepare executive-level presentations and actionable recommendations for senior leadership reviews, board meetings, and investment committees.
Track and triage inbound M&A and partnership interest, recommending whether opportunities should be prioritized, parked, or passed and providing a clear rationale before escalation.
Run working sessions between DigiCert teams and prospective partner teams, translating business requirements into integration specifications.
Lead business and commercial due diligence and collaborate across functional teams to turn strategic value drivers into actionable integration plans.
Assist in establishing standardized processes and methodologies for business-case development.
