You’ll be responsible for the management of center safety, security, fire protection, and liaison with law enforcement and other support agencies, in compliance with government and management directives.

Requirements

Bachelot's degree and two (2) years experience working with youth, one which should be in a supervisory capacity.
Experience with youth, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and computer proficiency required.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Directly related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education requirement.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate and manage the administrative and safety, and security activities of the department; serve as liaison between the center and immediate community in security and law enforcement matters.
Provide staff training, evaluate staff performance and recommend personnel changes.
Develop and implement new and revised policies and procedures affecting safety and security.
Regularly assess and audit department for contractual compliance and quality of services to students, prepare audit and assessment reports, particularly after normal duty hours and on weekends and holidays.
Provide fire protection, conduct monthly fire drills and inspections of the facility.
Coordinate with center staff concerning security matters and conduct security related investigations, ensure all paperwork is completed.
