The Manager of School Fleet Electrification is a member of the Connecticut Green Bank's ("Green Bank") Innovation team, with a specific focus on school fleet electrification and supporting the Fleet Electrification Accelerator program ("Accelerator"). The Innovation team is responsible for expanding the Green Bank into new markets, including clean transportation. The Accelerator was created to support Connecticut's municipalities in transitioning their school bus fleets to electric vehicles, thereby reducing emissions and energy costs. This position is responsible for building and maintaining long-term relationships with school districts and school bus operators - with a particular focus on fleet managers, superintendents, and school business officials - and for driving those relationships from planning through to financed deployment. The Manager is responsible for outreach and engagement, overseeing technical assessments of bus fleets and bus yard electric infrastructure (performed by a consultant) coordination with school district leaders and boards of education, deployment of Green Bank school bus financing products, and lifetime relationship management. The Green Bank, a quasi-public authority, is the nation's first state-level "Green Bank," leveraging public funds to increase and accelerate private investment in the green economy of Connecticut. Working at the Green Bank means being part of a dynamic team of talented people who are passionate about implementing the green bank model, stimulating the growth and development of clean energy and environmental infrastructure investment in Connecticut - growing our economy, strengthening our communities, and protecting our environment.
