The Manager, Sales Incentives & Coverage will develop Sales Incentive Plans (SIP) that align with the achievement of annual Chamberlain Group business objectives. This role partners with cross-functional leaders to shape and advance SIP and sales coverage strategy to meet evolving business needs. The manager will oversee the implementation of SIP, including the development of timelines, metrics, weighting, data architecture, data integration, launch plans, communication, and dashboards. They will lead the SIP Committee through in-year decision changes and propose solutions that achieve optimal outcomes for both the business and the plan participants. This role also oversees a direct report responsible for ongoing SIP maintenance and onboarding, as well as leading the sales coverage process, partnering with Sales leaders to analyze results, build maps, and plan territory/district definitions. The position requires providing accurate, real-time reporting on performance compared to targets, analyzing data, and presenting insights and recommendations to stakeholders. The manager will research and introduce industry best practices to continuously improve SIP design and sales coverage strategy, and consult with the vendor software team to optimize the SIP platform. Additionally, they will create SPIF (Sales Performance Incentive Funds) programs to drive short-term business objectives and calculate & report sales performance. The role also includes ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines, protecting company reputation, maintaining professional knowledge, contributing to team efforts, motivating and leading a high-performance team, driving performance management and compensation processes, and maintaining transparent communication.

Requirements

  • Managerial experience overseeing a direct report.
  • Experience in developing and managing Sales Incentive Plans (SIP).
  • Ability to partner with cross-functional leaders.
  • Experience in managing the implementation of SIP, including timelines, metrics, weighting, data architecture, data integration, launch plans, communication, and dashboards.
  • Experience leading committees and making in-year decision changes.
  • Experience in sales coverage strategy, analysis of results, map building, and territory/district definitions.
  • Proficiency in providing accurate, real-time reporting on performance compared to targets.
  • Strong analytical skills to present insights and recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Sales Incentive Plans (SIP) that align with the achievement of annual Chamberlain Group business objectives.
