About The Position

The Analyst, Sales Incentives & Planning is responsible for developing, evaluating, and optimizing incentive programs that drive sales growth, profitability, and strategic business objectives. This role delivers data-driven insights, analyzes market trends, and works closely with other departments (Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Distribution) to design effective, customer-focused incentive structures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Analytics, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years business related experience in incentive planning, sales operations, financial analysis, or similar analytical roles, ideally in the automotive industry
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills
  • Strong Excel/Word/Power Point skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a very fast paced environment
  • Attention to detail and deadline oriented

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with SAP an asset
  • Bilingual in French and English is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of sales incentive programs aligned with business goals.
  • Prepare presentation materials for monthly incentive review meetings.
  • Provide recommendations on incentive strategies based on market conditions, competitive benchmarks, and historical performance.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure incentive programs support revenue targets and strategic priorities.
  • Send incentive program communications to stakeholders and prepare files for Kia.ca and internal portals.
  • Build dashboards and KPI reports to track incentive performance by region, product line, and channel.
  • Prepare executive summaries highlighting insights, key findings, and recommended actions.
  • Analyze RV, competitor incentives and market trends to identify opportunities for program enhancement.
  • Utilize analytical tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, etc.) to support modeling, reporting, and data management.
  • Conduct variance analysis comparing forecasted versus actual incentive impacts.
