About The Position

This role provides direction to professional and supervisory staff in the Revenue Cycle Insights Team. It leads major analytics initiatives for Revenue Cycle, partnering closely with Revenue Cycle Operational Leadership and Central Intelligence and Analytics Developers. The position participates in strategic planning for the Enterprise Revenue Cycle, translating the Mayo Clinic and departmental vision into meaningful and effective responses and results. Responsibilities include delegating responsibility and authority, managing multiple functions, and serving as a resource with oversight in day-to-day activities. The role may manage multi-site operations and may possess technical knowledge appropriate to the functions being managed, with additional knowledge in other functions including professional management. The Manager participates in the identification of opportunities to improve processes and acts as a catalyst for realizing these improvements. They also serve as a facilitator and generator of new ideas, a mediator on difficult issues, and bring awareness of current external environment issues. The role involves participating in the overall management of the Enterprise Revenue Cycle by chairing and serving on Enterprise projects/groups, task forces, councils, and committees. It also serves as a liaison between sections and other departments and agencies inside and outside Mayo, creates customer service-driven sections, fosters collaboration with physician and administrative colleagues, builds teamwork within the Enterprise Revenue Cycle, and participates in retention planning initiatives. Travel is required as assignments warrant.
