About The Position

Manager Respiratory Care at Providence Little Company of Mary Torrance in Torrance, CA. This position is Full-time and will work Day shifts. The position is a licensed professional therapist who is responsible for maintaining standards of respiratory therapy and pulmonary lab and ethical practice in accordance with regulatory agencies and California practice requirements. The Manager is accountable and responsible for the daily operations of the Respiratory and Pulmonary Departments. Primary responsibilities include planning, organizing, directing and supporting department activities and staff to assure the philosophy and objectives of patient care services are met and assure resources are available for the efficient, cost effective operation of the department. This position promotes and supports a collaborative team approach in providing care to neonatal, adolescent, young, middles and older adult patients, and establishes policies, procedures, standards and objectives to provide the highest standard of patient care. Requirements

  • California Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire.
  • California Temporary Respiratory Care Practitioner upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
  • California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire.
  • 3 years Management experience.
  • 2 years Experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in an acute care setting.
  • Experience as a NICU Therapist or Leader in an acute care setting.
