About The Position

Provides the support and assistance to people we support to achieve skills necessary to live independently within the community and to create conditions within the homes to facilitate growth and self-awareness. The Manager of Community Home Services is responsible for supervision and oversight of the Team Leaders and Direct Support Professionals in the assigned Community Homes. The Manager plans, organizes, develops and directs the overall delivery of services in accordance with current federal, state, and program standards, guidelines and regulations as well as organizational policy and procedure. The Manager also recommends changes that would improve services performed. PERSON-CENTERED PRACTICES 1. Assures people have what is important to them present in their everyday life. 2. Requirements

  • A master’s degree or above from an accredited college or university and 1-year work experience working directly with individuals with an intellectual disability.
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and 2 years' work experience working directly with individuals with an intellectual disability.
  • An associate degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university and 4 years' work experience working directly with individuals with an intellectual disability.

Nice To Haves

  • Flexibility is needed, as the position is primarily first shift but may require providing hands-on supports during staffing issues, call-offs, or increased demand.
  • Some on-call responsibilities are required.

Responsibilities
