About The Position

The Manager Reporting and Data Analysis coordinates the activities of a regional data analysis and consulting unit to accomplish company objectives through information management. Supports customers in the areas of project management, data analysis and both routine and ad hoc reporting. This role requires associates to be in-office 3 days per week including either a Monday or Friday, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Ideal candidates will be able to report to one of our Pulse Point locations in Norfolk, VA, Atlanta, GA, Indianapolis, IN, Nashville, TN or Woburn, MA. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office. Requirements

BA/BS degree in IT/IS, Business Administration, Mathematics or Statistics
a minimum of 5 years of professional experience
a minimum of 5 years management in developing & executing strategy and staff management
any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background

Nice To Haves

Managed health care industry experience highly preferred.
Strong analytical and technical skills, including proficiency in Snowflake or similar data manipulation tools highly preferred.
Documentation of assumptions and technical requirements, and developing clear, concise presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences highly preferred.
Experience providing leadership in evaluating financial performance of complex organizations highly preferred.
Excellent leadership, problem solving, organizational, planning, presentation, and interpersonal skills highly preferred.
Ability to work independently and draw up plans to address issues/concerns highly preferred.
Strong communication skills to present clear, concise presentations of the detailed analytics preferred.
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills preferred.
Experience leading team of analysts or data operations team members preferred.
Ability to communicate with customers about technical issues in non-technical terms preferred.

Responsibilities

Manages the prioritization and development of applications and reports for business reporting and analysis purposes including ad hoc data analysis and special projects.
Obtains resources (people, funding, material, support) to support business unit information needs.
Ensures accuracy and timeliness of output and deliverables for assigned functional areas.
Implements the policies, practices, and procedures of the company and business units supported.
Oversees area budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and maintaining financial accountability.
Establishes relationships with business users and technical specialists, primarily internal.
Oversees entire reporting/analysis/consulting unit or all aspects of a centralized function.
Pulls data from multiple warehouses for the regional data.
Communicates with customers about technical issues in non-technical terms.
Understands the business processes that the system supports.
Hires qualified staff for assigned areas or functions.
Trains, coaches, counsels and evaluates performance of direct reports.
