Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Requires advanced analytical, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Requires well-developed interpersonal and communication skills to provide effective leadership.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and harmoniously with medical staff and administration to facilitate program goals.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/National Safety Council required.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
  • Two or more years of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the daily and strategic operations of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and/or Speech-Language Pathology and supervises personnel in inpatient and/or outpatient settings.
  • Serves as liaison between Ambulatory Services and other departments.
  • In partnership with the physician leaders, takes leadership role in planning, developing, marketing and evaluating all aspects of the Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech-Language Pathology Department in supporting the mission and strategic objectives of this program.
  • Identifies and pursues gainful opportunities and ventures for Ambulatory Services.
  • Provides care appropriate to patient population and as described in applicable policies and procedures.
