About The Position

In accordance with the Mission and Guiding Behaviors, a Supply Chain Leader actively guides, trains, mentors, and monitors Supply Chain colleagues while contributing to the development and execution of Departmental, Ministry and System Office based strategic plans. Provides operations and/or optimization leadership focus. May provide leadership and direction through managers. Balances between staff leadership, broader organizational direction and administration. Accountable for the performance, regulatory readiness, and results of a single large, strategic area in a medium to large-sized single functional domain within a limited geography. Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Business Administration, Finance, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Six (6) to seven (7) years progressively responsible experience with 4-5 years in Value Analysis or closely related discipline.
  • Verifiable 2-3 years of leadership experience in a progressive work environment with complex, multidisciplinary teams.
  • Candidates must live in Michigan within 50 miles of a Trinity Hospital.
  • Must be able to adapt to frequent interruptions, shifting priorities & stressful situations.
  • Must be able to attend to tasks until complete.
  • Must be able to understand and relate to complex ideas & concepts.
  • Must be able to remember multiple tasks & regimens extending over long periods of time.
  • Must be able to work on concurrent tasks / projects.
  • Must have frequent ability to hear normal sounds & voice patterns.
  • Must be able to give / receive instructions & other verbal communications in-person & over the phone / computer / device / equipment assigned with some background noise.
  • Must perform frequent manual dexterity activities & occasional grasping/handling.
  • Must have continuous attention to maintain a safe working environment & use of available personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Must comply with Trinity Health’s policies & procedures.
