The Manager Regional Sales is responsible for leading the new equipment sales team to achieve and surpass sales goals. This role involves creating and managing sales strategies, overseeing daily sales activities, developing team members, and recruiting and hiring new talent as needed. The Senior Sales Director is accountable for meeting the Sales Department's budget.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a business or engineering related field
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Sales Leadership position
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience working in a direct selling role.
  • In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods, as well as employee motivation techniques
  • Ability to develop a strong working knowledge of the company’s products, competitive products and the market
  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Great strategic planning, organizational and creative thinking skills with the ability to be hands-on
  • Working knowledge of business enterprise systems (e.g. FieldServio, SAP, ADP, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree or equivalent experience in a business-related field
  • Additional 2 years’ experience in a Director of Sales Position

Responsibilities

  • Designs and directs the work of the functional area.
  • Selects, coaches and develops the team, setting objectives that align with company strategy to inspire and motivate the team.
  • Manages organizational talent through performance management, succession planning and development.
  • Designs and directs processes by which team and individual performance are recognized, feedback is consistently delivered and performance is systematically improved.
  • Advising sales representatives on their current deals.
  • Review customer activity, anticipate consumer needs and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Establishing and maintaining key customer relationships.
  • Regularly join sales representatives on sales calls.
  • Ensuring the proper use of CRM databases and tools to track performance.
  • Optimizing the sales process and tactics.
  • Monitoring market trends and providing regular competitor analysis.
  • Building strong and collaborative relationships with other internal stakeholders.
  • Locates opportunities to expand client base.
