Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent
  • 7+ years of experience in systems integration and design
  • Associate/Bachelor degree and/or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of management or team lead experience
  • Knowledge of AVoIP, enterprise-level networking design and configuration
  • Knowledge of UC, collaboration and cloud platforms
  • Competent in Agile and Scrum methodologies
  • Residing in (or a willingness to relocate to) a location in proximity to the Northeastern United States is a requirement for this job.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership and development of regional project engineering associates under the Media and Workplace Business Units.
  • Development, resourcing, implementation, and continuous improvement of the regional project engineering team.
  • Ensuring the project engineering team is aligned with the needs of our clients by partnering with regional sales, operations and PMO teams.
  • Ensuring resources are shared across the business units and the company.
  • Motivating, mentoring, ability to demonstrate being a student of the business, communicating and navigating.
  • Collaborate with other regional leaders.
  • Align with the Sales, Operational, and PMO teams on Enterprise program support as part of the Workplace engineering leadership team.
  • Ensuring engineering has the skills required to fulfill projects and delight customers.
  • Directly responsible for the engineering quality and profitability of the portfolio of projects associated with their region; this includes engineering solutions and design documentation.
  • Point of escalation for project engineering.
  • Directly manages regional project engineering team.
  • Lead, inspire, and mentor associates.
  • Leading a team through projects that are not meeting expectations.
  • Motivating and directing the team to achieve the clients’ goals in an expedited manner.
  • Responsible for recruiting, hiring, and training resources to meet the needs of our client projects.
  • Track performance of teams to drive utilization, efficiency, quality, savings and added profit.
  • Contributing to the design of engineering and program standards and processes.
  • Assist in developing standards and procedures to ensure that quality standards are met and consistent.
  • Implementing these standards and processes in collaboration with the engineering teams and PMO, guaranteeing client satisfaction and profitable projects.
  • Govern standards through project and program audits to ensure adherence by the team and consistency in work product.
  • Drive efficiency in project engineering, including innovation and technology.
  • Drive risk assessment analysis, holding leaders and managers accountable to following defined processes.
  • Coordinate weekly in person and virtual meetings, workshops and team building events including manufacturers and vendors.
  • Visit clients and client sites, developing relationships with key clients as well as gleaning information about enhancing project fulfillment.
