About The Position

Davidson & Company is seeking an Audit Manager to join their Public Company Audit Practice. This role involves leading high-profile engagements, working with dynamic clients, and mentoring junior team members. The firm emphasizes an independent, entrepreneurial, and collaborative culture with a focus on fun. Requirements

  • CPA designation (or equivalent) required
  • 5+ years of public practice audit experience
  • Solid technical knowledge in IFRS, CAS, US GAAP, GAAS, and PCAOB standards
  • A natural communicator who can build strong relationships with both clients and colleagues
  • A genuine leader who motivates, mentors, and develops others
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple projects, stay organized, and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Experience using Caseware, MS Office, and a willingness to leverage AI-driven tools and new technologies to work smarter
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a passion for excellence and growth

Responsibilities

  • Take charge of end-to-end client engagements — from planning to final deliverables — across a diverse portfolio of industries and engagement sizes
  • Build strong client relationships by providing clear communication, practical solutions, and top-tier service
  • Collaborate with Engagement Partners to manage budgets, timelines, and deliverables with precision
  • Translate complex accounting concepts into client-friendly insights
  • Lead, coach, and inspire junior and senior team members — helping them grow while keeping the vibe positive and productive
  • Stay sharp on all things IFRS, CAS, US GAAP, and PCAOB while driving innovation and efficiency within your teams
  • Be a trusted go-to for your clients, offering proactive advice and guidance that makes a real difference
