About The Position

Growing CPA firm with two offices in the Valley of the Sun is looking to add an Audit Senior to their staff. This role involves leading and managing various financial statement engagements, applying GAAP knowledge, researching financial data, building client relationships, and mentoring team members. The firm is committed to delivering superior client service and requires the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Primarily local travel within the Phoenix metro area is expected.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 2-4 years of audit experience in public accounting
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
• Commitment to delivering superior client service
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

• CPA or eligibility a plus

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing audit, review, and compilation engagements – from planning through completion
• Applying knowledge of GAAP and financial statement presentation
• Researching and analyzing financial data and audit-related issues
• Building trusted client relationships and providing actionable recommendations
• Supervising, training, and mentoring team members on audit processes
• Developing an understanding of each client’s business operations
• Supporting additional accounting services as needed
