This role is responsible for driving efficiency, innovation, and standardization across Design & Service Centers and related cross-functional areas within Jewelry Services. This position oversees operational standards, equipment lifecycle management, and technology solutions that enhance productivity and quality. The role also leads training, mentoring, and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and best practices. This role also leads innovation through software design and development, creating new solutions to streamline workflow and reduce waste. In addition, this role serves as a subject matter expert (SME) for Jewelry Services when collaborating with the Digital Team and Product Manager on system enhancements. Responsibilities include gathering requirements, influencing design decisions, and participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet operational needs. The role also manages equipment procurement and maintenance standards and leverages data analytics to inform leadership decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years leading continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies
  • 3+ years developing, implementing, and maintaining quality programs, standards, and metrics
  • 5–7 years of experience in repair, manufacturing, or equivalent operational environments
  • Proficiency in designing and programming software solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, Dataverse)
  • Demonstrated project management experience leading cross‑functional initiatives
  • Experience researching, procuring, deploying, and maintaining large or specialized equipment

Responsibilities

  • Technology Solutions & Digital Collaboration: Design and implement software solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint) to optimize workflows, improve operational efficiency, and eliminate unnecessary spend. Act as SME for Design & Service Centers during digital enhancement projects, consult with developers, and participate in UAT.
  • Standards & Compliance: Develop operational standards for Design & Service Centers governing work inside the D&SC, including work instructions.
  • Quality Management: Define and maintain quality standards for repairs, monitor division-wide quality metrics, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance.
  • Performance Reporting & Data Analytics: Partner with Data Analysts to interpret data sources, influence report design, and provide actionable insights to leadership for strategic decision-making.
  • Continuous Improvement Leadership: Lead or support strategic improvement projects leveraging Lean and process improvement methodologies.
  • Equipment Management: Research, procure, and deploy updated equipment to maintain or enhance capabilities within Design & Service Centers. Establish standards for equipment repair and maintenance.
