Requirements

• Successful completion of a university degree in administration, business, law or social sciences or some other specialty relevant to the duties of the position.
• A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in operations program and services management.
• Two to three (2-3) years managerial experience leading a multi-disciplinary team and providing leadership.
• Experience providing advice and making recommendations to senior management.
• Excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
• Strong leadership and motivational skills.
• Strong collaboration and coordination skills.
• Solid ability to coordinate complex and highly sensitive files simultaneously.
• Strong ability to think critically and strategically.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Sound judgement, tactful, discrete.
• Excellent professional, interpersonal and organizational skills to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to travel as required
• Language Profile: CBCC
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
• Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of CATSA’s mandate and priorities, as well as the relevant legislation affecting CATSA
• Experience in the air transportation or security industry.
• Knowledge of project management principles.

Responsibilities

• Managing the provision of procedural, policy and project support to CATSA’s four (4) administrative regions.
• Implementing program improvements to ensure the delivery of effective, efficient and consistent aviation security screening operations in Canada.
• Performing all other duties and responsibilities related to the position as required.
