The Manager of Professional Development will provide day-to-day support and leadership for the Texans Together (TTG) Professional Development Division, ensuring the delivery of comprehensive training programs for new and current employees, foster/adopt parents, and community participants. This role is essential to maintaining high standards of training that align with TTG’s mission to support children and families involved in the Texas foster care system. The Manager works collaboratively with programming teams, the evaluation team, state agency partners, Community Based Care (CBC) Lead Agency partners, and local organizations to ensure training initiatives meet contractual obligations, support program goals, and achieve desired outcomes. This position performs senior-level managerial work administering the daily operations and activities of TTG’s professional development functions. Responsibilities include supporting the development of strategic goals and objectives; developing and implementing guidelines, procedures, and policies; establishing schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving established goals; coordinating and evaluating business function and division outcomes; and monitoring budget expenditures. The Manager works under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
