G2 is looking for Manager, Products Analytics which will Lead Data Analysts and Senior Data Analysts through technical knowledge and implementation of work. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (foreign equivalent degree acceptable) in data analytics, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or other related fields and five (5) years of experience in progressing roles within the data analysis field, specifically regarding product enhancements.
  • Must have three (3) years of experience with:
  • business intelligence tools, including Looker and Metabase
  • Snowflake syntax
  • Warehouse methodologies
  • R and Python
  • Remote work permitted up to 5 days per week, may be required to work from office occasionally.
  • Domestic travel for team and/or company events up to 10% annually but is not required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Data Analysts and Senior Data Analysts through technical knowledge and implementation of work.
  • Establish and adhere to ways of working to allow your area of responsibility to work more effectively with G2 Product Guilds and deepen connections/communication in generating ROI.
  • Report KPIs to Senior Manager of Data Analytics on a cadence basis agreed upon to establish metrics demonstrating value brought through product analytics team and product guild research.
  • Fully support all of our Product Guilds with Analytics Insights, which includes Data Stories, Quality Assurance of deliverables and product change pipeline impacts, Data Investigative spikes, Data Science escalations, Data Consultation and Pulls, Business Requirements gathering and synthesis for Business Intelligence tools, and methodology improvements.
  • Inform Product R&D decision making and team research with insights from G2 rich datasets of user sentiment, industry trends and buyer behavior.
  • Connects with technical and non-technical team members to share knowledge on G2’s data and reporting tools and enables the team to find the story within the data.
  • Support project based work using analytic tools to produce datasets and descriptive analytics.
  • Use BI tools as directed to create accurate, timely, and informative datasets and visualizations and support teammates ability to access and analyze this data themselves.
  • Identify opportunities to improve our reporting and additional data management tasks you discover in your analysis.
