About The Position

Capital One is hiring a Manager, Product Management for its Enterprise API Gateway, API Runtime team. The role supports one of the company’s largest and most critical platforms: its API platform, which powers real-time customer and associate experiences. The product manager will own user experience and platform capabilities, helping advance a next-generation platform and support the latest AI technologies.

The role follows Capital One’s Product Framework, emphasizing human-centered product design, business outcomes, technology-driven solutions, integrated problem solving, and transformational leadership. Product managers are expected to understand internal and external customer needs, deliver value through strong execution, use technology to create resilient near- and long-term solutions, address complex problems and product risks, and align cross-functional teams.

The role is eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives. Requirements

• Currently hold, or be in the process of obtaining with the required degree expected on or before the scheduled start date, a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative field, Business, or Marketing; quantitative fields listed include Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
• Alternatively, have a bachelor’s degree in any field and at least 3 years of Product Management experience.
