About the Team The Product Owner is responsible for leading the development and delivery of end-to-end Testing, Deployment, and Infrastructure & Cost capabilities for the Card Authorizations Platform. Accountable for driving engineering velocity, platform reliability, and operating efficiency across the Cerberus ecosystem through a suite of horizontal, domain-agnostic capabilities that enable all platform teams to ship faster and operate more confidently. Role Details: Own the product strategy, customer experience, and roadmap across Nirvana's capability pillars — Testing, Deployment, and Infrastructure & Cost — with direct accountability to platform-level OKRs including Change Failure Rate, Manual Testing Hours, Speed-to-Market, and Cloud Cost efficiency. Lead discovery and delivery of high-priority initiatives including E2E Customer Journey Testing Automation (Argus), Platform Performance and Chaos Testing, Continuous Deployment Enablement (mOPL / CAP-CDK), Non-Production Environmental Stability, and more. Collaborate with technical partners to define requirements, evaluate tooling options, and maintain an adopt-first posture for scalable, extensible capability delivery Serve a diverse set of internal customers — from software engineers needing reliable test environments and fast deployment feedback, to engineering leaders needing standardized practices and compliance confidence, to platform leadership needing visibility into operating costs across critical infrastructure (e.g. Cloud), programs (e.g. Discover) and processes (e.g. testing) Capital One Product Framework In this role, you’ll be expected to demonstrate proficiency in five key areas which we consider to be the foundation for successful Product Management: Human Centered - Obsesses about internal and external customer needs to reimagine and innovate product solutions Business Focused - Delivers game-changing outcomes by focusing on leverage and execution excellence Technology Driven - Leverages technology to deliver innovative and resilient solutions that enable both near term and long term value Integrated Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves complex problems to deliver outcomes while mitigating product risks Transformational Leadership - Leads cross functional teams to solve customer problems and drive organizational alignment

Requirements

  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date: A Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field), Business or Marketing OR Bachelor's degree in any field and 3 years of Product Management experience
