About The Position

Adyen is seeking an experienced Manager, Product Experience (PX) to lead a team of 8 full-stack PX professionals. This team is responsible for the end-to-end product discovery and execution, from research, design, to content. The primary focus will be on the "Setting Up Business" job to be done for merchants, aiming to accelerate the customer journey from contract signature to their first transaction. The role involves defining and executing experience strategies across various domains including Lifecycle Experience (onboarding, compliance), Lifecycle Enablement & Orchestration (bridging internal operations with external experiences), Developer Experience (AI-powered unified platform), and Platform Engineering (internal UI frameworks and tools). This role requires a seasoned manager with a strategic, builder's mindset, a strong customer focus, and an adaptive, growth-oriented approach. The manager will be responsible for building and growing a high-performing team, ensuring the quality of PX work, championing PX across the organization, and empowering team members for professional growth. Collaboration with Group Product Managers, Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and Senior Leadership is key, as is maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders across product, development, commercial, and operations teams.

Requirements

5+ years of prior people leadership experience in a Product design or UX field.
Deep UX craft and business acumen to create a clear vision, empower team experimentation, and turn vision into lasting impact.
Comfortable working across all levels and functions, from engineers to executives.
Ability to drive product experience strategy by balancing user needs with company goals.
Adaptive and growth-minded individual with an open mind, curiosity, and optimism.
Drives a culture of urgency and action, ensuring the team moves fast to test, learn, and improve.
Natural coach and mentor who builds and manages a team of full-stack PX professionals, providing clear, constructive feedback that fosters professional growth and elevates their work.

Responsibilities

Define and champion the Product Experience (PX) vision and strategy, ensuring it directly drives broader business goals and success metrics.
Build and grow a high-performing team of 8 full-stack Product Experience (PX) professionals, who will own the end-to-end solution discovery and execution.
Partner with Group Product Managers, Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and Senior Leadership to drive strategic initiatives.
Ensure the quality of PX work stays high and consistently raises the bar for our customers.
Champion PX across the organization, ensuring customer needs are prioritized in product strategy.
Empower your team members to succeed, grow, and become highly effective for the business.
Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at Adyen, including product, development, commercial, and operations teams.
