About The Position

NVIDIA is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Manager to lead the HBM Product Development team within our Ops organization. In this leadership role, you will guide a team responsible for bringing next-generation HBMs from NPI through manufacturing ramp and high-volume production. You will collaborate across ASIC, system-level product development, test development, reliability, and manufacturing teams to drive HBM yield improvement. The ideal candidate combines strong technical depth in HBM with proven leadership in product development and high-volume semiconductor manufacturing.

Requirements

  • MS or BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ overall years of experience in memory product development or engineering.
  • 3+ years of technical leadership and people management experience.
  • Strong circuit-level understanding of HBM architecture and solid command of key AC/DC datasheet parameters.
  • Hands-on experience with product characterization on the Verigy 93K ATE platform.
  • Proficiency in Python, C, or C++ with demonstrated experience in statistical data modeling using JMP or equivalent tools.
  • Experience building automation and scripting infrastructure for validation, data analysis, and test workflows.
  • Proven track record to drive problem solving in a multi-functional environment under aggressive schedules.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct engineering experience with major HBM suppliers (Hynix, Micron, Samsung).
  • A bias for action — self-directed, resourceful, and comfortable driving ambiguous problems to resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of product development engineers responsible for HBM bringup, characterization, and production ramp.
  • Partner closely with HBM vendors and NVIDIA teams across multiple functions (ASIC, System Product Engineering, Test Engineering, Reliability) to root-cause manufacturing failures and shift-left failures back to suppliers manufacturing.
  • Own root-cause analysis and resolution for yield excursions, fallout, and reliability escapes; ensure seamless NPI-to-production transitions.
  • Lead yield improvement initiatives with a goal of reducing HBM manufacturing fallout to zero across NVIDIA's supply chain.
  • Deliver structured quality feedback to HBM suppliers and lead test audits to continuously improve outgoing product quality.
  • Establish scalable data analysis frameworks, automation tooling, and statistical methodologies for validation and production monitoring.
  • Collaborate with operations teams on product qualification, ramp readiness, and high-volume manufacturing scale-up.
  • Present HBM readiness status and risk assessments to NVIDIA leadership.

Benefits

  • highly competitive salaries
  • comprehensive benefits package
  • equity
