The Manager, Process Excellence is responsible for driving initiatives that result in process improvements, cost savings, and / or improved profitability. The position leads the implementation of sustainable process improvements and is responsible for creative ideas, inspiring innovation and setting a foundation of Process Excellence as a means of measuring and reporting results to ensure change initiatives deliver expected business results. While the primary focus of this position is in the specimen management and lab areas of the business, it also requires deep immersion in the upstream and downstream business functions and workflows, and strong collaboration with other process improvement professionals, functional leaders and frontline employees in order to deliver desired results. The ideal candidate will have a technical background (engineering, life sciences, computer science), Bachelor’s degree (Engineering/Sciences), and work experience either in Process Excellence, Business Operations, and/or as a management consultant.
