Its autonomous security agents detect and counter AI-driven threats across the SDLC, offering prevention-first protection for various code types at enterprise scale. The company is seeking a Manager, Platform Product Management to guide the evolution of how Checkmarx packages and delivers its product portfolio. This role bridges Product, Engineering, and Go-to-Market functions, translating platform capabilities into customer value through strategic roadmap ownership, cross-functional alignment, and product execution. As a cross-functional product leader, this individual will define and drive the platform strategy underpinning the Checkmarx One experience, structure prioritization decisions, support customer migration to current platform plans, and develop clear product guidance for internal stakeholders and the field. The ideal candidate should possess a strong product management background, deep platform intuition, and experience in later-stage B2B SaaS environments, having worked directly with Engineering, Sales, and Product Marketing teams to drive platform strategy from concept to customer rollout.

Requirements

7+ years of experience in B2B SaaS product management roles, with platform or infrastructure product experience preferred
Has led or been a key contributor to platform strategy at a company scaling toward $500M–$1B+ in ARR
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and relationship-building credibility with Engineering, Sales, and Revenue Operations
Experience managing platform change (e.g., migrations, replatforming, new capability rollouts) in the field, with the communication skills to present to senior leadership and go-to-market stakeholders
Ability to mentor and grow other Product Management roles within the organization
Demonstrated structured and data-driven problem-solving and prioritization skills for multi-dimensional platform challenges; ability to get hands-on and develop various frameworks for evaluating build/buy/partner decisions and platform investments

Responsibilities

Lead platform product strategy and roadmap execution across multiple product lines
Manage and develop a team of 3–4 Product Managers and 1–2 Designers, providing mentorship, career development, and day-to-day leadership
Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, Deal Desk, and PMM to operationalize platform capabilities for the field, including feature guidance, release workflows, customer messaging, and enablement
Design and execute platform migration plans, especially as we transition legacy customers to our modern Checkmarx One plans
Partner with Product and Engineering teams on platform strategy and feature alignment according to customer value
Develop product collateral, enablement, and field training materials in partnership with PMM and Enablement
Bring customer, competitor, and market insights to platform strategy decisions
Track performance of platform initiatives and optimize product strategies based on real-world data and usage patterns
Drive analysis on platform adoption and effectiveness by region, product line, and customer segment
Lead and organize regular cross-functional product reviews with senior stakeholders
