About The Position

Direct and coordinate all plant operations and maintenance within company policies and procedures. Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Be a safety leader at the plant and establish and direct plant policies and procedures. Responsible for meeting plant production goals. Establish and maintain a positive community relationship while fostering and promoting a team environment. Confer with department heads to ensure coordination of safety, purchasing, production, quality, human resources, accounting, and shipping. Responsible for establishing all shift production schedules. Select and train plant supervisory and operations staff. Conduct employee performance reviews. Schedule and conduct plant meetings. Responsible for the product quality of the plant. Attend scheduled corporate training and meetings. Follow all federal, state, and company regulations for the plant and wastewater. Work with customers and suppliers. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent required
  • At least four years of plant supervisory experience required
  • Minimum of four years of Rendering knowledge and experience
  • Good computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Good verbal and written skills
  • Supervisory experience required

Nice To Haves

  • College degree preferred
  • Direction of plant operations and wastewater knowledge helpful
