About The Position

The Manager Physician Practices is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, planning, organizing, leading, and directing new services in accordance with the Health System's goals. This role involves developing staff, managing the annual budget and practice expenses, and ensuring efficient, high-quality services. The manager must ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements, evaluate practice efficiencies, and implement improvement plans. Responsibilities include analyzing statistical trends, acting as a liaison between various stakeholders, preparing provider productivity records, managing practice policies and procedures, ensuring clinical reimbursement compliance, and overseeing staff including hiring, supervision, and performance evaluation. The role also involves monitoring patient satisfaction, participating in scheduling, and resolving conflicts.

  • Manages the implementation and monitoring of practice policies and procedures.
  • Ensures clinical reimbursement processes/procedures are compliant with standards.
  • Monitors financial benchmarks and quality control programs.
  • Screens, hires, and supervises staff.
  • Evaluates employee performance and provides guidance and feedback.
  • Monitors patient satisfaction within the practices.
  • Monitors and participates in team members/physician scheduling.
